Incoming secretary-general for Singapore's People's Action Party (PAP) Lawrence Wong said he will put together the best team and renew and strengthen the party ahead of the upcoming General Election, which has to be held by the end of 2025. Mr Wong, who is also prime minister, spoke of difficulties in finding potential candidates for the election. "It is never easy to get good people to enter politics," he said.
Mr Wong also touch on Forward Singapore plans, saying the transformations will unfold over several years.
