Sales for festive essentials boom, restaurants see pick-up in bookings

With much of the festive season revolving around food, supermarkets are seeing the usual spike in businesses, despite prices rising for certain grocery items. Singapore residents continue to snap up festive favourites such as roast beef, turkey and sausages. Meanwhile, eating out has also become a convenient alternative, with restaurants seeing more bookings this period. Ivy Chok reports.
