Singapore-made music on SMRT stations initiative extends to March 2025

A one-year pilot to give more exposure to local musicians, through airplay at public transport spaces has been extended to March 2025. More than 140 local artistes have seen their songs played around eight million times across 125 SMRT train and bus stations. Talks are also underway to expand the initiative to other public spaces like malls. CNA's Muhammad Bahajjaj reports.
