New built environment team formed to raise industry productivity

A new built environment team has been formed to improve productivity in the sector, amid rising demand driven by major infrastructure projects. Chaired by National Development Minister Chee Hong Tat, the public-private group will look at adopting new technologies, streamlining regulations and addressing manpower constraints. It will engage industry stakeholders over the coming months to gather feedback and ideas. Claudia Lim reports.
