Many on social media have faced cyberbullying at one point or another, said MP Lim Biow Chuan in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4). He added that frequently, the bullies hide behind the cloak of anonymity. “Why should anyone using social media be subject to such bullying behaviour?” Mr Lim asked. He also asked the Ministry of Law to provide an update on the new legislation to provide stronger support and assurance to victims of online harms such as bullying.
