Japan PM Kishida vows no more fundraising parties at ethics hearing
Mr Fumio Kishida has become the first sitting Japanese prime minister to appear before a parliamentary ethics committee as he seeks to restore public trust that has been dented by a funding scandal. More than 80 lawmakers from his ruling LDP party have been involved in the wrongdoing, but Mr Kishida has not been linked to misreporting of political funds.
