A communications and new media graduate of the National University of Singapore, Daphne joined the news desk in August 2024 with a focus on local and international breaking news, explainers and live blogs. 

She also has a keen interest in social issues relating to disadvantaged communities and enjoys writing human interest stories. Her stories include the SCDF Operation Lionheart rescue mission in Myanmar, as well as a feature on how to support children with special needs.
