Amanda specialises in original and translated lifestyle, technology, and socio-cultural stories for CNA Indonesia's audience.

She has more than 12 years of experience in media and translation, including a three-year tenure as a civil servant translator at Indonesia’s Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection. In 2022, she served as the official translator for the G20 Ministerial Conference on Women’s Empowerment.

Previously, Amanda worked as an international news writer for CNN Indonesia, where she exclusively covered the Myanmar election in 2015 from Yangon. She has also held various roles in content curation, media monitoring and analysis, and subtitle localisation for streaming platforms.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the State University of Jakarta.
